Chiropractic – Chiropractic care prepares you for physical activity by correcting the mechanical stress to your spine and joints. It improves joint alignment and range of motion; increases muscle tone and flexibility; and helps reduce pain. It can even help speed recovery time between training sessions.
Movement – You can get really good at protecting body parts in pain. You learn to move in a way that avoids aggravating the pain. Unfortunately, this causes the surrounding muscles to weaken; joints stiffen; and movement becomes more difficult and painful. By correcting your basic movement patterns, you will decrease your chance of injury, and improve your capacity to heal and be well.
Nutrition – No training or exercise program is effective unless complemented by proper nutrition. You can’t train or recover well when you don’t have the right nutrients. We can design a supplement program to correct any deficiencies. We then help you find the most realistic diet plan for you. You will learn how to eat better most of the time in a way that increases your energy and makes you leaner and stronger.
Fitness – To provide long lasting relief from chronic pain, your spinal structures and supporting muscles must be actively reconditioned through strengthening exercises. By including strength training in your program, you will improve your spinal fitness; maintain your quality of movement; and build bone and lean muscle mass. Strength training burns calories long after the workout and plays a role in injury prevention. In the hierarchy of training, nothing will get you leaner faster than strength training.
